QuikUp ("we", "us", or "our") operates the QuikUp mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have over your data.
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We collect only the information necessary to provide the Service.

We do not collect location passively. Location is only stored when you explicitly pin a map location on a Qup. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or analytics networks.
Camera access is never initiated by the app automatically. It is only requested when you explicitly tap your profile photo and choose "Take a selfie". The photo is resized, compressed, and stored solely as your profile avatar. No raw camera data is transmitted or retained beyond the profile image itself.
Aggregate Qup analytics: For PRO Qups, we compute aggregate metrics (view count, participant counts, RSVP breakdown, message count, invite conversion rate) derived from data you already share with us. These metrics are visible only to the event admin. No new personal data is collected — analytics are aggregated from existing event data.
Content moderation: QuikUp staff may access message content, event details, and user-generated content within the platform for the purposes of content moderation, enforcing our Terms of Use, investigating abuse reports, and complying with legal obligations. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and is logged for accountability.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. Where required by law, we take appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy at this URL and, where appropriate, via in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
