Account & data deletion request
QuikUp lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Delete from inside the app (recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the QuikUp app:
- Open the QuikUp app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with the 6-digit verification code sent to your email.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are deleted immediately.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app — for example, you signed in with Google and can't reach your account — you can request deletion by email. We verify ownership of the email address before deleting any data.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove all data linked to you, including:
- Your username, email, display name, and profile photo.
- Google sign-in association (if used).
- Events (Qups) you created, and your participation in others' Qups.
- Chat messages, poll votes, RSVPs, and additional-guest entries.
- Invitations, join requests, favorites, and notifications.
- Push notification tokens and server-side session data.
- Purchase records linked to your account identity.
Some records may be retained only where required by law (for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting), and are otherwise deleted.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email-based requests are completed within 30 days of identity verification.
